FiveM Phone Script

On a roleplay server the phone is how players reach each other outside voice range. Calls, messages, money transfers, job billing and social feeds all run through it, so a phone script touches more of your server than most resources. It reads your framework's money and jobs, hands calls to your voice resource and often needs to know about garages and houses. When these parts come from different authors, you maintain several resources that each need their own bridge to your framework.

Cylex Phone puts these systems into one resource. This page explains what that means in practice, what your server needs to run it, and how it compares with other ways of building a phone setup. For screenshots, the full app list and the price, see the Cylex Phone product page.

What the phone covers, grouped by use

Communication

Voice and video calls run through the voice resource you already use. Players also get one-to-one and group chats, mail, an anonymous chat app and file sharing with phones nearby.

Social and media

Five social apps cover the usual roleplay uses: short posts, photos with stories, a short-video feed, dating and live streaming with chat. Each has its own feed and direct messages, which gives in-character news outlets, influencers and businesses a place to post.

Money and jobs

Bank transfers, invoices, job billing and a boss menu work with your framework's money, so you do not need a separate banking app for the phone. A crypto market and a casino app are part of the same resource.

Everyday apps

Camera and gallery, a garage app with vehicle delivery, house keys, a racing app with leaderboards and a few mini games. In total the phone has more than 40 apps, and they load on demand.

Framework and resource requirements

  • Framework: QBCore, ESX, QBox or mCore
  • Database: oxmysql (required)
  • Inventory: ox, qb, origen, tgiann or mInventory, or none
  • Voice for calls: pma-voice, mumble, saltychat, toko or bs-voice

The phone detects your framework on start, together with your garage, housing and voice script. Cylex's own housing scripts, Apex Housing and Modern Housing, are not among the supported housing scripts yet. Config files, locales and framework bridges are not encrypted, so you can adjust the integration if your server runs a modified framework.

Escrow, Monthly or Lifetime

Cylex Phone is sold as an escrow resource only; there is no open source version. The core is protected by Cfx.re Asset Escrow, and the config, locales and bridges stay editable. There are two ways to buy it:

  • Lifetime: a one-time purchase.
  • Monthly: a subscription billed every month through Tebex. If you cancel, the resource is removed from your Cfx.re account when the paid period ends.

Both contain the same resource. The phone is not part of the GOLD or DIAMOND script subscriptions. Both versions are listed with the other escrow scripts.

How it compares with other approaches

Servers usually build their phone setup in one of three ways.

A separate resource for each feature

A basic phone plus separate social, banking and crypto resources. You choose each part yourself, but every resource needs its own framework bridge and its own updates, and the apps rarely share one look. Cylex Phone covers these areas in one resource, with one config and one update channel.

A phone written for one framework

Some phones target a single framework. That keeps them simple, but moving to another framework later means replacing the phone. Cylex Phone supports four frameworks through bridges you can edit.

Another all-in-one phone

Several all-in-one phones exist, and the right one depends on your framework, your voice resource and the apps your players actually use. Compare the requirement lists side by side and try the interface first. Cylex Phone runs in a browser at phone.cylexdev.com, so you can see every app before you buy.

Installation, updates and support

After payment the resource is added to your Cfx.re account and appears in the Cfx.re Portal. Make sure oxmysql runs before the phone, add the resource to your server, review the config and restart. The Cylex Phone documentation covers each step.

Updates are published to the same Portal entry and listed in the changelog. Support is handled on the Cylex Discord.
